NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Programs welcomes a new Associate Director, Pediatric Dentistry site in Rhode Island.

Dr. Richard L. Cohen is a NYU alumnus. He graduated from the College of Arts & Sciences in 1976 and graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1979. He then pursued a military career in the US Army. Dr. Cohen spent 24 years as an active-duty officer and retired as a Colonel in October 2003. He then spent 17 years as an associate in a large group pediatric dental practice in South Bend, In.

Dr. Cohen recently joined NYU Langone Dental Medicine as an Associate Director in the Pediatric Dentistry residency site in Rhode Island. Dr. Cohen lives in RI close to his sons and their families and enjoys spending time with his wife, Dana, and their three (soon to be four) grandchildren.

He is excited to share his knowledge and experience with the programs' residents and to collaborate with the superior professional staff already on site.
