Serving the Underserved; Learning on Campus. Unlike other dental clinics, our clinic is part of a dental teaching institution, the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH). Dentistry in the Community is an integral part of the curriculum for dental students at A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH). ATSU-ASDOH collaborates with more than 50 local community organizations to enrich communities and benefit underserved individuals while honing dentistry skills through diverse public health dentistry. Organizations include schools; long-term care facilities; American Indian reservations; Women, Infants, and Children affiliate centers; Boys & Girls Club; Head Start programs; and several other non-profit and social service organizations. In partnership with NYU Langone Dental, ASDOH mentors residents to become caring, technologically adept practitioners and community leaders serving more than 6000 families in need. The Dental Clinic at ASDOH offers advanced and specialized services including: Laser therapy, periodontal therapy, Cone Beam CT technology. A resident will experience all areas of dentistry including: preventive, general, cosmetic, orthodontics as well as within our special care suites, located at both our Mesa and Glendale dental care suites which include, but are not limited to: exams, cleanings, sealants, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, periodontal therapy, dental implants, laser therapy, digital x-rays, and in-office sedation.
