Opening the door to healthcare for All. The Center for Family Health serves the Jackson County and the surrounding area. Their mission, “opening the door to health care for all,” is in partnership with patients and community partners, proving “together we make good health happen.” The Center operates six health-care facilities in Jackson County. It also operates four year-round, school health centers at Jackson Public Schools and Northwest Community Schools and an adult health-care satellite clinic. There are 30 health-care providers on staff, all board certified or board eligible. The center operates comprehensive medical services as well as a complete dental program, especially for children. Residents will provide care for children – through the age of 21 at the Center for Family Health Downtown location, the Northeast Health Center, and through the Mobile Dental unit, which visits area schools twice a year. They may also provide dental services for patients who are pregnant or diagnosed with diabetes. Children's dental services include cleanings, examinations, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings, extractions, night guards, athletic mouth guards, root canals and some crown preparations. The mobile dental unit provides on-site care to Jackson County schools and organizations including examinations, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments and sealants for children.
