Five Dental Centers serving the underserved in Memphis. Christ Community Health Services has focused on fulfilling the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the poor, the uninsured, and the homeless in Memphis since 1995. Each year over 56,500 patients are served—64% of which live below the Federal Poverty Level—translating to 175,822 patient visits. Christ Community Health Center operates five dental centers: Third Street, Broad Avenue, Hickory Hill, Frayser and Raleigh. They provide dental education as well as preventative, diagnostic, and restorative care to the uninsured, those below the poverty line, HIV/AIDS patients, and special needs patients ages less than 1-100. The five centers see nearly 15,000 patients annually from many different cultures and countries around the world.
